The Community Civic Campus project will be built in phases. Phase I will be the new state-of-the-art Police Station (located at the corner of Chestnut Avenue and Antoinette Lane) which broke ground in February 2020 and is currently under construction. Phase II will be the combined Library, Parks & Recreation and Community Theater / Council Chamber center and park (located along El Camino Real between Chestnut Avenue and Arroyo Drive) targeted for ground breaking in January 2021. Phase III will be the Fire Station (located at the corner of Arroyo Drive and Camaritas Avenue) to be constructed timed with development on the Municipal Services Building site.
The new buildings will highlight innovation in design of multi-functional, multi-user, interactive facilities. This project will create a visually distinct, high-profile civic presence, and contribute to meeting the City’s commitment to being a great place to live, work, learn and play.
